If you let them move above the Star Coin, you won't be able to reach it. When riding the blocks that move in a stair pattern, you have to jump ahead, grab the coin, and then jump back onto the blocks before they pass you by. The second Star Coin also requires very good timing. Update: If you stand on the burner and jump you will hit a hidden block that will make it a lot easier to grab the Star Coin. We'd be tempted to recommend Raccoon Mario only there doesn't seem to be enough room for a run-up, even from the far end of the platform with the two tiny downward-facing burners that turn on and off. Run and jump from the right side and wall-kick against the left wall that's barely visible off the top of the screen. Head to the area where there's a single burner periodically shooting upwards. The first Star Coin is extremely hard to get. The second Star Coin is on your right, at the bottom. Climb up into the secret attic and enter the door. Hit the ?-Switch in there, and ride the block all the way down. Jump down and go through the door on the right. From here, make your way all the way to the right and enter the top door. In the new area, strike the ?-Switch and go all the way back to the left. Make the Boo move and hit the ?-Switch it was guarding. Hit it and make your way up to find the first Star Coin. Hit the three blocks there and you will find another ?-Switch. When you see some doors, head right, going through the yellow gates.
No catches, just jump up and take it.įrom the start, head down using the ?-Switches. Climb up to get the third Star Coin which is just waiting there. Jump up to hit a hidden block which produces a beanstalk. There's a small platform to the left of the flagpole. Wait for the falling rocks to destroy the blocks surrounding it and rush in to grab it before the falling rocks demolish the floor. Push the ?-Switch and follow the blocks as they appear to get to the second Star Coin. Though be wary of the rocks falling from the sky. It's simple enough to get: just jump up the right-hand side to grab it. The first Star Coin is sitting on top of a stone block shaped like a hammer.
